Ground Transport and Car Parking
(Bremen, Germany)
Bremen Airport is directly connected with Bremen's main railway station and the ZOB (central coach station) via tram number 6, which stops right outside the airline check-in desks. The tram service runs every 10 minutes during peak hours and takes about 17 minutes to reach the railway station.
From Oldenburg and the neighbouring area, Luftibus operates a shuttle bus service to the airport. You can book a seat through any travel agency or call the company direct on: +49 441 81 11 4. Taxis are also readily available from the main railway station to the airport for the 20-minute ride.
Bremen International Airport (BRE) Parking Facilities
Bremen Airport has two modern multi-storey car parks that are open 24 hours and can hold 4,450 vehicles. They are both conveniently located near to the terminal and feature an electronic sign system, which guides drivers to the nearest empty parking space. Several spaces on the ground floor of each car park are reserved for women. For short stays, there are a few parking spaces situated in front of the terminal and in car park I there are also inexpensive short-stay parking spaces. Motorists with oversized vehicles cannot get into the car parks and must use the outside car park.
There are several parking spaces for disabled drivers located near the lifts on the ground floor of car park II and on the third floor of car park I.
